About the Role

We are looking for a senior marketer to build Uno's product marketing function and team. Reports to the Chief Product Officer.

Remote-first role.

Your first 3 months look like…

You are learning about how and where to reach our potential members, and how to ensure they go through a seamless enrollment funnel. Because focus is everything at a startup, you will be responsible for determining where to prioritize early efforts. You will:

  • Develop and start executing on a strategy for optimizing our current channels: phone sales, direct mail, SMS and email marketing.
  • Build, experiment, iterate on our value props and positioning strategies.
  • Design and maintain our enrollment funnel tracking ecosystem, including how we communicate learnings, successes and failures to the broader team.

Success means pushing the boundaries of what outreach to the Medicare/Medicaid population typically looks like. You will:

  • Own Uno’s member facing brand and experience.
  • Leverage data to identify engagement and churn indicators and build a strategy around them.
  • Collaborate with the Product and member-facing teams on designing members journeys that span the lifecycle, with a focus on conversion and engagement.
  • Develop thoughtful experiments designed to improve the member experience and impact member conversion and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Product on building a scalable marketing stack.

This role requires

  • A proven track record of creating growth or lifecycle engagement strategies and driving business results.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to thrive in a scrappy environment.
  • Experience working in healthcare, financial services or a regulated environment.
  • Experience working with sensitive or hard to reach audiences.
  • An NPS >90 from your grandparents’ friends!
