As the General Manager of our Mexico City operation, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales and customer success efforts for our SaaS products targeting customers in the United States, while building out a Latam American go to marketing strategy. In this role, you will primarily oversee the Go-to-Market functions, but will also be a site leader for other functions in the business. Reporting directly to the President of GTM, who is based in the United States, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the teams responsible for Customer Success, Commercial Sales, Sales Development Representatives (SDR), and G&A.
This role is based in Mexico City, MX and will be an office based position once an office is established. We are looking for someone locally in Mexico City.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Team Leadership and Development - Build out and lead our Mexico City team inclusive of Go-to-Market functions, Technical Support, Finance, Accounting and HR. Some relationships will be direct reporting lines while others will be matrixed. Provide leadership to all local employees and create a cohesive team environment. Provide direct oversight to GTM teams including:
- Customer Success - Oversee the Customer Success team, ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion. Foster customer loyalty through relationships. Drive initiatives to proactively address customer needs through digitization and self service options where applicable.
- Commercial Sales - Lead the Commercial Sales team, responsible for driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth. Implement sales processes, best practices, and tools to optimize the sales cycle creating a more digital and self-service experience.
- Sales Development Representatives (SDR) - Manage the SDR team, responsible for generating qualified leads and setting up sales opportunities for the Commercial Sales team. Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance lead generation.
- GTM Strategy and Execution - Develop and execute the GTM strategy for selling our SaaS products into the United States market, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and revenue targets. Develop a longer term strategy to extend our customer base into the LATAM region. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive strategic decisions. Provide leadership and guidance to cross functional teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving business goals.
- Operational and Financial Excellence - Implement efficient processes and workflows to create efficiencies and enhance customer acquisition, adoption, retention and expansion. Oversee day to day operations of the worksite, ensuring compliance with local laws and standards. Work with Revenue Operations to establish appropriate sales targets, territories, and quotas to ensure strong sales performance. Work closely with Finance to create and manage budgets ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic goals and supports revenue objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with other departments, such as Product, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure a seamless customer journey and feedback loop for product enhancements.
- Market Analysis - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential challenges. Adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Compliance and Ethics - Ensure that all sales and customer success activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Our Vision of You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing GTM functions. Experience is desirable in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, and leading customer success efforts.
- Experience selling SaaS products into the United States market is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer lifecycle, and customer success methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural, cross-functional team environment.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
