The Associate Producer reports to the Director of Video for Editorial and Branded and will assist the video team in developing and producing editorial and branded content for our syndication partners. This person eats and sleeps the latest media trends, they stay on top of viral and pop culture moments and instinctively source them for storytelling techniques in our content.

This role will work closely with all members of our team to assist in creating distinctive and best-in-class videos. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative environment and is looking to grow their skill set and expertise in video production. They contribute to brainstorms regularly, but don’t get married to ideas. They can give and receive feedback well. They are exceptionally organized and have experience operating under deadlines.

What You'll Do:

• Assist producers in building pre-pro packets including subject matter research, location clearances, influencer lists, shoot schedules, booking travel, story development, etc.
• Organize footage and project files during or after shoots with limited oversight. Upload and maintain assets in the server.
• Gather assets for edits as requested.
• Assemble string outs and rough cuts of long form video edits.
• Build optimized thumbnails and manage YouTube long form video uploads.
• Lead YouTube short form video production including scripting, editing and publishing calendars.
• Build reporting documents as requested.
• Potentially appear on-camera as vlogger talent for editorial travel pieces if and when interested.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years as a Production Associate or Production Coordinator for a digital media brand or 1-2 years in an Associate Producer role for a digital media brand.
• Follow and understand industry trends for optimized YouTube long form and short form video content.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
• A passion for the brand’s content.

Compensation

• Cash Compensation Range: $40,000-$66,000*
  *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
