Vice President of Accounting/Finance

Red Ventures is seeking a Vice President of Accounting/Finance to join our Corporate team. The VP of Accounting/Finance will provide financial leadership to the accounting team through oversight of the accounting and financial reporting for the company’s domestic and international entities to ensure all reporting is timely and in compliance with the company’s accounting policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Make recommendations concerning business policy, resource allocation, financial goals, objectives, and systems to support growth of the company and improve financial performance.
- Oversee the team’s activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, audit communication and preparation, forecasting and budgeting analysis.
- Maintaining and updating company’s financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll records using generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
- Manage international corporate consolidation process.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with banking and insurance laws.
- Leverage automation with a lens for continuous improvement
- Manage monthly financial close and reporting including statements and forecasts.
- Receiving, processing, and recording all requests for approved and documented disbursements.
- Cash management including maintenance of bank accounts, cash balance and preparing cash requirements forecasts.
- Analyzing expenses and making recommendations to reduce expenditures.
- Ensuring adequate financial controls.
- Preparing presentations for management reviews for timely and effective decision-making.
- Providing financial data to private equity partners, shareholders and other stakeholders as requested.
- Maintain strong working relationship with partners, business leaders, and strategic investors.
- Forecasts capital requirements and identify/analyze capital sources.
- Support Corporate Development and M&A activity
- Lead project initiatives on cost reduction, process improvement and margin enhancement to maximize profitability and cash flow.
- Interact with and provide financial information to CEO, CFO and business team leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance and CPA is required.
- Minimum 10+ years progressive accounting & finance experience with demonstrated leadership and success in a Controller role
- Experience in international corporate consolidation
- Proven track record of transformation work to modernize systems/processes
- Proficiency utilizing financial systems and reporting packages as well as Microsoft Office products
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Digital marketing industry experience is helpful
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- Proven track record leading large teams and creating an engaging and rewarding culture with a high bar of performance expectations and accountability.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player and possess a good sense of humor
